I was searching for a matcha cake everywhere for my wife's birthday. I finally found one here. I called and the employee was very friendly and assisted me with ease. When I went to pick up my cake, I was shocked with the layout of the establishment. It was very lively and different. I will going back to try more of their food given that the cake was very delicious.
I am obsessed with this place. It doesn't help that this is so close to my home. I frequent here on the weekends! I have tried their pastries, cakes, and drinks. My favorite drinks are passion fruit jasmine tea with boba and pistachio latte. Their Thai milk tea and milk tea were a little bland when we ordered it once. It would be nice if they had some savory breads, as all of their breads are sweet. Their egg tarts are delicious and authentic, but they are on the expensive side! In NYC, you can get an egg tart for half the price and just as good! In terms of the cakes, I like the tiramisu and chocolate power cake. The cakes remind me of the cakes from Paris Baguette and Tous les jour! I like how the cakes are spongy, not too sweet with fresh cream. And I would skip on the croffle. The girls who work here are friendly. Once, I preordered a cake and they even called to confirm the pick-up time. They are also quick to prepare the drinks. And a Korean bakery isn't complete without K-pop music! This place has K-pop playing and music videos projected on the wall! I wish they opened earlier because I would stop by to get coffee or tea before work all the time!
I'm so glad they opened this bakery close to my house....wait...make be this isn't a good idea!... everything is sooooo soooo good. I haven't tried the dark Chocolate cake yet, I'm taking it to someone house tomorrow , the sweet potatoe cake is out of this world, so light, so tasty, it is heaven in your fork! I will be trying everything in the store! One day at a time! Og the ladies in the store were so very nice
I want to love this cafe and bakery, but my first experience there was lackluster. I did go with my kids, so maybe returning on my own would be different. This Cafe is super difficult to find. I had to circle around twice with GPS telling me I had arrived but no cafe in sight. Luckily we spotted a very small sign for the Cafe. Not sure if this is normal for them, but inside, the baked goods were individually wrapped in plastic and laid out on a table. Not sure how I feel about everything, including cream filled items, being in room temperature all day. As a person with kids, having a million sweets laid out at grabbing level is not so fun. Even though my kids are pretty polite, they wanted to pick up and squeeze almost every item. They both ended up picking one of the most appealing items visually, a chocolate bun cut in half with white cream in the middle. Each item included the name and ingredients and price, but no description of taste or origin, etc. I found most of the ingredient lists to be discouraging. I am not into knowingly purchasing items with corn syrup in them, which a few had. Also, every baked item that I saw was sweet - or at least had sugar of some kind in it, and I found that disappointing. I was hoping to be able to purchase a savory item for my kids to balance out the sweet I knew they'd select. I had a chocolate chip cookie, which did not look good and was kind of bland and cakey. Maybe I just need some guidance on what to order?
So glad they decided to open a Boynton Beach location! I've been dabbing into Ari (formerly known as Paris) bakery for years when I traveled more south. I wasn't able to find this location at first but then I kept driving down the plaza and found them. I love the refreshing clean layout of their bakeries. They also individually wrap everything and leave them out for you to pick out yourself. After 9PM, all the breads are 50% off. I bought a few pastries during my visit here and they were delicious! I will definitely be coming back to try their boba tea.
Ari Bakery is part of Paris Morning Bakery, a small but growing chain of Korean bakeries. Paris Morning was named the Best Asian Bakery by the Sun Sentinel. Owner Danny Cho moved here from South Korea in 1996. After meeting CEO John Nam in church, they have gone on to open locations in Davie in 2014, Lauderdale, and Boca Raton in 2017. Their newest bakery, Ari is located in the Boynton Beach Promenade Plaza. Look for gold spinning pinwheels out front. Paris Morning bakeries are known for their less sweet French influenced Korean pastries. The bakery's most popular item is the red velvet cake is decorated to look like an apple. Ari has a clean, minimalist aesthetic. There are tables inside if you want to dine in. Wooden tables hold breads and individually wrapped pastries made with red bean paste, matcha, chocolate, almond, and blueberry cream cheese. Once you decide you can take your selections to the register to pay. Other sweets include macarons, croffles, and beautifully decorated sponge cakes decorated with light and creamy frostings. They also sell savory traditional Korean-style meat with rice bowls called zipbop, which are popular among Korean students. Drinks include hot coffee and tea, iced coffee, frozen lemonade, and bubble tea. A visit to Ari bakery is a delightful experience where you can explore a mix of French influenced traditional Korean flavors in cakes and pastries. Don't forget to add one of the refreshing drinks. I am a fan of the lychee bubble tea and the hamster bread is especially adorable.
I was searching for a fun and delicious cake to bring to a friend's Christmas dinner, and was excited to see Ari Bakery had opened up fairly close to home. When I walked in, there was a plethora of smaller baked goods packaged and ready to take home. Tried as I might, I couldn't resist picking up a few... the egg tart, red bean bun and red bean donut. The tart was silky and light with a flaky crust, not too sweet... perfectly delectable. I love red bean desserts, and the bun/donut didn't disappoint. I couldn't help but eat the donut on the way home and it was the sweetest of the three. I absolutely loved it. As far as the cakes are concerned, they were all so beautifully decorated and the flavors were too hard to choose between. But I settled on a large red velvet cake. I have never seen such a beautifully bright dessert with such a gorgeous apple shape. I took the cake home a full day and a half before the party, and when I unboxed it on Christmas, not only were all of the party-goers delighted with its beauty, but when I cut into it, the cake and cream were so moist. The The flavors were absolutely lovely and the unlike the cream cheese filling I'm used to on a red velvet cake, this cream was fluffy and perfectly balance the sponge cake. I think I found my new favorite cake and go-to bakery. I can't wait to return to try their zipbop rice dishes for a more savery experience!
The brown sugar boba tea, so good. I would come back here. I came too late to get cake slices but I am sure they are good. The guy at the front super helpful.
I've been waiting for Ari Bakery(Paris Morning Bakery rebranded) for almost 1.5 years already. I've been to the Miramar and Boca Raton location before, this is about the same size, maybe a little bit bigger than the Boca Location. It's nice to know that we finally have one in the Boynton Area! Located in the Boynton Beach Promenade plaza, it's a little hard to find right now since they don't have a sign yet, but they have a poster on the window outside. Upon walking in, it is very clean, Kpop playing on the wall from a projector. All the breads and baked goods are on by the left side of the wall with tables and chair on the right side. Further in the back that is where the case of cakes, and other sweets are. They have coffee, tea and boba. There is even a sign promoting their croffles, and cakes that you can order ahead for special occasions. For those who have never been before, there are trays and tongs by the entrance. This is to help carry all of the bread and goods, and the tongs are used to pick them(cleanliness is important!). And then you bring your tray to the counter to be purchased. Echo was the employee present at the time, she told us that they just opened 11/27/2023. So make your way over for some Korean goodies and bread!
